Constitutional Law class

This 18-week Internet-based course follows Michael Farris' textbook, "Constitutional Law for Enlightened Citizens," and uses a computer-based audio CD-ROM to deliver the "classroom" lectures. The syllabus lists the reading and listening assignments for each week and offers a flexible schedule for homework. Every two weeks, students can participate in a live chat-room discussion--hosted by Michael Farris--to pose their questions and discuss the material. Twice during the class, students will submit essay exams for grading. A certificate of participation will be awarded to all students at the end of the class.

CPR classes for Homeschoolers

My name is Robert Niemiec and I am the director of the T.E.A.C.H. home school support group in the Oak Park, Illinois area and the father of five home schooled children. I am a firefighter/paramedic and I teach CPR classes to homeschool groups. I have led classes for a number of enrichment classes.

Below is the information from my website including a link to a page only for homeschoolers. I offer the classes at a significant discount to homeschool families.

As a home schooling parent, I'm sure you find yourself looking for classes that provide a wide range of educational experiences for your children. Do you have young children in your home ? Does your teenager babysit for family and friends? Would they know what to do in a medical emergency? I will bring all the needed equipment to your location. and upon completion you will receive an AHA CPR certification card.

Classes can be scheduled for daytime, nighttime or weekends and usually last between 3-4 hours.

Our First Aid class is a great way to learn how to handle a wide variety of medical emergencies including heart attacks, diabetic emergencies, stroke, shock, trauma, environmental emergencies and more, should you ever be faced with one. As a student, you will leave this class feeling confident that you will know how to handle many difficult situations in public or at home. Each student will receive an AHA First Aid certification card at the end of class.

You may not know when you may need these skills, but you can be prepared if an emergency happens in front of you. From my own professional and personal experience, every moment counts when someone's having a medical emergency. You can be prepared. If you have any interest and would like to schedule a class or have any questions feel free to contact me.
